Flowering Tree (2025)
After I got a pet of an Asian breed, I was drawn to Asian art.
Previously, when looking at prints, I felt nothing — it seemed that they depicted only people and scenes of everyday life.
But when I began to study this culture more deeply, I discovered how many works inspire love for nature and respect for the animal world. I fell in love. Immediately, I felt the desire to create something in this spirit. Thus, the idea arose to depict a flowering tree on rocky soil. It took root where, it seemed, there was no earth for life — a symbol of resilience, inner strength, and the ability to overcome difficulties.
I had not originally planned a bird. When the sketch was finished, it seemed that something was missing — something alive. That is how the white heron appeared. It added not only completeness to the composition but also philosophical meaning: in Christian and Eastern symbolism, the bird represents the soul, striving to seek the meaning of life.
Together, the tree and the bird become a metaphor for life: even in the harshest conditions, there is room for growth and beauty, and the living soul always seeks the light.

Artist Bio
I, Jana Bogmatser, was born in Tallinn, Estonia, I never received formal art education. Instead, I developed my skills independently. For 14 years, I worked in a specialized field, creating portraits and drawings, which allowed me to perfect the precision of execution and the mastery of volume transfer.
Today, I create large-scale artworks in the style of volumetric bas-relief combined with crystal incrustation in the technique of jewelry painting. Each work is executed with high precision, and the surface is meticulously decorated with crystals to impart depth, sophisticated light play, and exquisite brilliance. The main themes of my works are nature and the animal world.
The creation of each painting requires several months of devoted work, which ensures a high degree of detailing and unique artistic quality. My pieces are perfectly suited for elite interiors, private collections, luxury hotels, and high-class public spaces.
